Terms

Last updated 19 June 2026. Short version: be cool about what you upload, we'll be cool about hosting it, and nothing's guaranteed forever.

The deal

slip.pic turns a photo into a sliding puzzle and gives you a link to send. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

Your uploads

• You keep your photo. Uploading doesn't transfer ownership. You grant slip.pic a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, serve, and display the image and its scrambled teaser for as long as the puzzle is stored (max 30 days).
• You confirm you have the right to upload the image — you took it, or the person in it is fine with this, or it's otherwise yours to share.
• Face mode. If you include a face — yours or anyone else's — by enabling the "drop my face in" mode, you confirm consent for that face to be shown to whoever you send the link to. Don't drop someone else's face in without their say-so.
• You're responsible for what you upload. Don't upload anything you wouldn't share publicly — the link is unguessable but not secret.

What you can't upload

No sexual content involving minors. No non-consensual nudity. No incitement to violence. No content that's clearly illegal where we operate. No deepfakes of real people meant to deceive. No spam, malware, or scams hidden in image payloads.

Automated moderation runs on every upload. If it flags your image, the upload is rejected and nothing is stored. Bypassing or trying to bypass moderation is a breach of these terms.

Reporting

Any visitor can flag any puzzle from the share screen. We review reports and remove anything that violates these terms — usually within hours. If you want to report something quickly, email tom+slippic@joto.games.

What we can do

• Remove any puzzle, anytime, with or without notice, especially if it breaks the rules above.
• Rate-limit or block IPs that abuse the service.
• Change or take down the service entirely. We'll try to give warning, but no promises.

What we can't promise

• That slip.pic is up 100% of the time.
• That your link will keep working past the 30-day expiry.
• That recipients will solve it. That's on them.

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, JoTo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost links, lost time, lost bets, lost arguments — arising from your use of the service.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and the live page updates. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that can't be resolved by email goes to the courts of Rotterdam. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
